Hi all. Interested in your experience with home IPL & would you recommend any particular brand/model? I’m very dark haired & need to shave legs daily in summer otherwise it’s very noticeable/stubbly. Also, how long before it was effective & do you still need to shave occasionally or top up with IPL. Thanks

Personally if you can afford it do go to a salon first , then top up at home with an IPL after that .
I had 8 sessions in a salon around 10 years ago , have never shaved my legs since , and go over my armpits about once a month at home with a Phillips lumea ,
but that’s only really since I hit menopause.
The salon grade machines you just can’t get at home .

I had 8 sessions 6 weeks apart so it was a slow and expensive process but worth every penny to me .

I have a Braun one and it’s great. Just do occasional top ups. Wish I’d done it years ago. I have pale skin and dark hair though.
