Makeup for a wedding - help!

The last time I went to a wedding I was very much into all my makeup, I had very expensive foundations and potions.

I am now very pared back in my makeup - I usually only wear a skin tint and I can’t remember the last time I wore a proper foundation.

I’m invited to a wedding in a couple of weeks and would like to get a bit more dolled up, but I have no idea where to start! I don’t want to repurchase all the Charlotte tilbury etc that I had, as I won’t use it often enough to justify it.

I need foundation, concealer and setting spray ideally under £15 each!

I’d go to Boots and be colour matched for No7 foundation and concealer if you’re able to. IME the foundations apply and stay on well and are within budget, and hydraluminous concealer used to work well for me. Elf Power Grip primers and setting sprays are great and within budget too.

The L'Oréal infallible setting spray in the red bottle will do the trick. I don't tend to use it regularly as it seems a bit like putting hairspray on my face but your make-up wont budge after applying it and it's cheap.

For cheap concealers I hear good things about the Maybelline ones.

I personally wouldn't bother with foundation....use your usual skin tint and then top up with concealer for extra coverage. If you're not going to use it regularly you may as well get a decent concealer and use it almost like a foundation.
