Anyone used Eleven Loves? Any good?

I found the site when searching for a ruffle / tulle skirt like the Hush Floriza one that was so good (I have two, but wish I had every colour….).

Eleven Loves seems to have the best comparable one, so thinking of going for it, though they’re not cheap. And don’t seem quite as nice as the ones Hush used to have, which seemed thicker and heavier, in a good way. But I like the ribbons the Eleven Loves ones have.

Has anyone shopped with them? Any recommendations or warnings?

Yes. I love them. I have two pairs of trousers and a lovely sweater from there and one of their long swishy satin skirts. I haven’t got a tulle one yet but one is definitely down as a future purchase. Excellent service and delivery and good quality items. Sizing is not generous. I’m a 10/12 on the high street and definitely a 12 or 14 here.

I ordered from them for the first time this week! I paid for standard delivery and my order arrived the never day. I ordered two items and am really pleased with them both, on the pricey side but quality seems good. The items I ordered are true to size, possibly slightly generous.
I don’t know if it’s still running but when I ordered they were doing 25% off if you ordered through their AI tool, worth a look.

I bought the exact same tulle skirt in pale grey 3 years ago & it’s still going strong. Super quality, washes well.

I’ve bought a couple of items from them - jeans and some nice jersey tube dresses - and also have a beautiful ElevenLoves cotton shirt I found on eBay which is amazing quality and doesn’t seem to crease at all. I’ve had fast delivery and found them very quick to refund if you return items too. I’d say the sizing is generous though - I’m probably a 12-14 (14 on top) and have found the size 12 a good fit.

You can usually get 15% off your first order if you search around.

I have quite a few things from them. The Billie barrel legs in camel, two pairs of the perfect side stripe joggers (navy and olive). The Eliza wide leg trousers and a couple each of the sleeveless Izzy dress and long sleeved Lizzy dress.

I really like their stuff, it's very good quality, customer service is excellent, I've returned things for both exchange and refund with no problems. I wear everything I have from them frequently and the sales are good.

I'm an 8/10 and find them true to size. I tend to get a 10 in jeans and trousers, a S in dresses and size down to an XS in the joggers.

I'm not on commission I promise, they are just a brand that I really like and buy from.

Are any of you ladies tall just wondering about fit/length as I am 5’10’ but at the top end of the size range.

No, but I’d be keen to know this as well, actually, as I’m 5’9”.

I’m tall (5'10'') and bought a pair of wide leg trousers from them, they suit me really well and the length is good. Lovely quality.
Sizing is true to size I’d say, not oversized.

I am probably more of a size 20 and with being tall sadly I don’t think the items would work on me.

I follow Kat Farmer who is extremely slim and not as tall as me who looks great in their items although with her figure I’m sure she would look great in a bin bag or a potato sack tied with garden twine.

@OrangeLanemy Dsis has this skirt in black and it’s absolutely lovely ! I am contemplating whether I could wear one like this to a winter wedding to give me an excuse to buy it ! I love their things and have bought a few now.

What height and dress size are you please? Are the other items worth the price tag?

I ordered this skirt previously, but returned it as I didn't think it was particularly flattering (the elasticated waist). It is lovely though, but I bought it to wear to a party to which two other people wore it! So I'm glad I returned it if only for that reason...

I also got a t-shirt, which I kept, and is good quality and flattering.

I ended up buying two of those skirts, one pink and one green - but managed to get both off Vinted for much lower prices (the green one was reasonably worn but in good condition and was only £17, and the pink one was new with tags and maybe £50-ish).

They still sell the green one (Olive), but not the pink one anymore. And it looks like the price for the new ones has gone up. The new blue colour (Lapis) does look gorgeous.

Here's my take, if it's useful....

The pros: They look lovely. I get loads of compliments, they're flattering on me, they're quite special and different, and pretty easy to wear - because they're a bit over the top, they look great with just t-shirts / plain jumpers, plus boots and tights; they don't need tricky styling.

The cons: Probably because I've got the Hush skirt to compare them too, the fact is that they just don't compare at all. The Hush one is a bit longer (more maxi than midi), more 'fuller' (or more consistent, maybe) in its ruffles and how it flows, and more comfortable.

The problem with the Eleven Loves one is the waistband - it's not really elasticated (at least not like the Hush one), it's got a ribbon through it, like a drawstring. This brings a couple of issues

Because I've got hips, I have to be very careful as I put it on to make sure the ends of the ribbon don't draw back into the waistband and get lost. I would just knot the ribbon at each end, but once it's on I then want to pull the ribbon so the skirt sits on my waist, and tie a nice bow.

Also because of the ribbon, the skirt works so much better when it's too big for you. If I could go back in time (or if I end up seeing that new blue colour on Vinted for a good price), I'd go for the biggest size possible. Because the waist isn't really elasticated, the skirt feels and looks best when the waistband at its biggest (i.e. when 'stretched') is too big for you, and then you pull it in, allowing for both a big bow, and the ruffles to flow better and not seem too far apart.

(I hope I've explained that ok, but I can try again if it doesn't make sense!)

Upshot: I wouldn't buy the Iris skirt at full price. But I'd buy it off Vinted, and if it was a bigger size than I wear. And in the meantime, I'm taking SUCH good care of my Hush navy one, as I never want it to fall apart.

Just adding - looking further on the Eleven Loves site, as part of introducing the new season of colour for the Iris skirt, they've also changed the sizing (there used to only be a few sizes, like S, M-L, etc.) and now there's every single size from 6 to 18.

If anyone's got one of the new ones, it would be interesting to hear what the sizing is like, and how well people think it works.

@PistachiomonsterI nave just seen this - I am 12-14 pear shape and 5 foot 6. I have often managed to buy with codes which helps but think the pricing is fair compared with other brands I used to use ( jigsaw, mint velvet , hush )
I have found sizing not to be terribly generous and definitely think I would have more success if I was smaller ( I have returned trousers quite often !) but well worth a try .
