Best solution for under white trousers

I’ve just bought a lovely pair of cream balloon trousers - they are light and airy and flattering with a fitted vest and sandals . But they are so see through! I’m not that fussed that people can see my pants which are plain nude coloured and not skimpy . However I do think maybe there must be a better solution? Lining at the top would be ideal .. but perhaps costly as the trousers were cheap enough. French knickers ? Or shorts style ?

Either of the last two options, or you can get what is essentially an underskirt for trousers. This sort of thing

I don’t know your skin tone but for me pink and reds are much better than nudes for appearing invisible under whites. Maybe try a pair of those stretchy no vpl and seam knickers in a mid-pinky tone? Thats what I wear when I want them to be invisible.

I always see this mentioned on here but I can assure you pinks and reds are visible! When I see this in real life I always think they must be a mimsnetter.

Nude pants, you might need to play around with the shade.
