Fake tan novice - 16yr old needs advice
My DD wants to try a fake tan to help her confidence. She's extremely pale, ginger hair Scottish parents - both of us.
We never ever tan, burn yes but tan..never.
Can someone please help advise which product would be best for her ?
Obviously being pale and ginger she doesn't want anything that will give her that Tango look.
I can't help her decide I really don't know where to start.
Any advice will be appreciated.

Garnier summer body. It’s a very lightly tinted self tan moisturiser that me and my friends used to use at uni many years ago. I still use it now.

Yes a gradual build up one would be best. So a moisturiser with some self tan in it.

I’ve been using this one https://amzn.eu/d/09AITM1x amzn.eu/d/09AITM1x]]]] recommended by someone on MN and am happy with it, no weird smell and not orange.

If she wants to be really careful, self-tanning drops are a great option. They mix into your own preferred body lotion, so level of tanning is very customisable. It's easy to start with just one or two drops to lotion per limb, then add more if needed/wanted on next application.

I like Isle of Paradise in general for tanning: https://www.boots.com/isle-of-paradise-self-tanning-body-drops-medium-75ml-10322961

Or a cheaper option:

(I actually loooove a primark version, but I don't think it's available at the minute)

The Bondi sands gradual tanning milk is a good start I think! After the first day it’s very subtle, then apply the next day and it’s more noticeable. It’s ideal because it’s buildable so you can get the level of tan you want. I think it’s £12 or so!
