I got a nice one from River Island and two from Boden, ordered 4 from Nobody’s Child and wasn’t impressed at all.

I got two for £20/£25 in the Very sale this week.

Just look for cotton, maybe viscose, and avoid polyester as you want cool - and you’re bound to find a few.

Aspiga has beautiful cotton dresses at the moment, top of your budget but excellent quality and wear well .

I just bought this. Not sure I should keep. Top is flattering and it's maxi on me as I'm 5'3" but it's got a bit of polyester and I'm worried it will be too hot. Plus it might show too much flesh on top as I'm 47. So debating it.

Apricot had some gorgeous maxi dresses a month or so ago.

@abitbloodybrighteroverthere I've got lines on my décolleté area (worse in the morning from sleeping) whereas my face looks 37 I reckon my neck to cleavage age me more.

Do not trust a company called Clovedale. They have lovely pictures of linen dresses when you Google maxi dress. In reality 3 weeks later some awful plasticky shiny unwearable garment will arrive in the post.
