Cool trainers for city walking

Hi! What are the best trainers for city sight seeing? Going on a trip to Asia and anticipate a LOT of walking! I want something light weight, that won’t make my feet to hot but that also look nice! I found a pair of Hoka that I liked but wondered if anyone else had any suggestions. TIA.

Will rain be likely ?

The trainers I've got are not at all waterproof, very lightweight, designed for running with v cushioned soles but take in water very easily. And sand too.

Worth bearing in mind.

I don't know about 'cool' but I find Reebok Classics the most comfy

But yea not totally rainproof

It will definitely rain!! I think I’d rather deal with wet feet but retain some breathability.

Hoka do some sandal type trainers with ventilation?
or have a look at Sorel - they do some really good sandal/trainer hybrids that will be comfortable walking in heat but also not too “trainery”

but I do love Hoka Bondi’s in a pretty colour for every day too
