Affordable natural fabric summer dress brands for a vibrant Autumn

Recently lost alot of weight. I'm mid 50's. Had my colour and style done by House of Colour (cost a fortune!). It has made shopping both easier and harder. Finding the right colours, styles and natural fabric combined is nearly impossible. I have become very choosey.

I am a vibrant Autumn Ingenue.

Boden prints are too big, fabrics too heavy and length often too long even in petite.

Seasalt mainly too flowery

I'm looking for timeless, easy to wear summer dresses in natural fabrics at an affordable price!

The same old brands repeatedly come up when you google search like Next & M&S and nothing new

Any other suggestions greatly appreciated. I recently came across Poetry which is fabulous but my size (12) is mainly out of stock right now.

Help, please help !!

I’m in my mid-sixties. (Size 12, just under 5’3.) I don’t shop at any of the places you mention.

A random selection of dresses I’ve worn recently came from:

American Vintage
Co Collections
Loulou de Saison
Margaret Howell (MHL)
Studio Nicholson
Zara
Zimmermann

All natural fabrics - cotton, linen, ribbed silk, wool, all easy to wear, no tiers, prints, flounces, puffed sleeves. I’m flexible-ish on prices; wary of low prices, prefer sales at higher prices. I wear my clothes for years and years so they’re worth investing in. So far I’ve never found clothes shopping problematic - there’s so much choice.

I haven’t bought anything from Cos in a while, but I’m often impressed with their dresses. This, for instance:

I am in my mid-fifties and am eschewing all prints. Uniqlo and Cos for most clothes with a few extra random items from places like Baujken and Me and Em.

You may not have had many replies because posters are suffering from What summer dress? exhaustion.

I’ve not found any nice dresses yet this season either. Just rewearing my old ones currently.

Massimo, Ralph Lauren

This Is Unfolded do nice dresses, mostly natural fibers, in different lengths.

Check out Palome; I’ve recently bought a couple of tops and definitely rate the quality.

I'm a similar age and also only buy natural fabrics these days. When shopping recently, I was impressed with Uniqlo for basics, though would try on in store as sizing can be inconsistent. Sainsbury's Tu can also have a few things (I like their linen shirts) but here I would order online as the range in shops can be limited. I also like Me and Em but only in the sales.

I also like John Lewis for the range of options and free delivery.
