Hello I dye my hair at home (bad I know but have to colour it every 6 weeks) it's also in quite bad condition dry ends, falling out etc I have been using cheap shampoo and hair products since went dark 3 years ago (used to use good hair products when was blonde) anyway should I use salon hair products shampoo, heat spray etc even though dye it at home?

You don’t need salon products. Look at ingredients not price. amd products suitable for your hair type (not condition).
personally I use solid shampoo from here: https://www.frenchsoaps.co.uk/collections/shampoo Its economical, not full of terrible ingredients, lasts ages and suits my hair. also understand that’s not for everyone.

Solid Shampoo & Conditioner Bars | Natural, Allergen Free, Haircare

Soap-based shampoos made with olive oil or goat’s milk, and botanicals. Silicone, Sulphate, and allergen free formulas that are good for you and all hair types.
