Easiest fake lashes

I fancy trying some fake lashes for an event on Saturday. It’s a year 13 prom. I don’t normally wear much makeup but for some reason am being bombarded by adverts for Lola’s lashes, and I am tempted. What would you recommend for me to try that I can buy online this week?

I started with pre glued eyelure from Boots. I got confidence from that and now I use anything - in fact I love primark right now

Don’t entertain magnetic lashes, their formulas can flake and get into the eye and that is awful pain believe me. I know someone else who took a reaction to it.

look up Robert Welsh Apply Lashes on google , he is helpful!

I have used Eyelure strip lashes for decades & they're still the best I've tried.
I had a go with individual ones & it was a right faff.

Eyeliner on, hold them with tweezers while you apply the glue, place in the middle first.

03 for a natural look, I like 101 for volume but I have to trim them for my tiny eyelids.

Thanks! That’s good to know re magnetic lashes @WhatWouldYouDo223because they did look tempting!

I like the Lola‘s lashes that actually go under your lash line rather than over the top of it. I find them far easier to use, and because they are individual ‘clumps’ you can choose how full you want them to be.

I like ardell Demi wispies with Superdrug glue

I love Lola’s lashes. They’re are tricky but the only ones I can do and I get the short ones which add more volume than length. They’re go underneath the lash and I find it easier that way. I can’t do strip, and found the magnetic ones too long and thick.

Ardell press on lashes - they go under your lashes and come in clusters of different lengths so you can play around with what suits you

Lola's are the best I've tried. I accidentally put them on (Strip Lash) before going GoApe. Didn't even consider that false lashes probably wouldn't be the best idea... They held up amazingly, the zip lining couldn't budge them, nor face planting into a cargo net. My only issue is, I don't wear them daily so find that the glue pens can dry out a little but not really an issue. Can't fault their staying power though!

Lola's lashes pre-glued clusters are the easiest and look brilliant. Get the clusters rather than the strips because it's easy to get the strips all tangled up on themselves. I like the petite brown ones as I find they look the most natural.

Thanks everyone! Just back from a very hot and sweaty prom- but my lashes stayed put all night. I just went for cheapo eyelure 003 - recommended by @ShishKofteupthread. They were pretty easy to apply but there was a stressful moment where the fan blew one out of my tweezers before I got it to my face!! My husband had to come and help me find it 🤪
