21st party style

I’m really stuck what to wear for a 21st party. It’s smart casual dress.
i was hoping to find a co ord with wide or palazzo trousers.Or pencil skirt
Ideally black or navy.
Classic style.
I’m ok with sleeveless but not a low back.
I’m 5’6” and size 10 to 12
Budget around £100
i would love some help please

sorry it’s my first question into style and beauty. I’m 58 it’s my friend’s daughter’s birthday.
I’d like something classic.
My perfect outfit would be a shell top and wide or palazzo trousers. In linen with lots of gold jewellery.

M&S are doing a good job on smart casual right now. I’ve bought these combinations and they are perfect. Not expensive but look it! Throw a leather biker jacket over either and you are away! By the way, I’m 70.
