My birthday is coming up and I'm being treated to some new earrings. I know what would really fill a gap are some hold chunky twists or something but I think these ones I don't need at all are so pretty.

The Sézane Small Horace Hoops are my go to. I didn’t realise how useful they’d be when I bought them but I wear them most days now. Unfortunately they’re not available anymore but they look similar to the Missoma above.

I also agree with Monica Vinader. The Fiji hoops are on sale in small and medium at the moment and another great staple.

I bought a pair in Mango last week that were gold coloured pearl disc earrings for £12.99 - they are incredibly flattering as the bounce light round the face. I’ve had 4 compliments on these cheap earrings already

I prefer simple 9 CT gold and diamond studs. I can't wear gold plated or even silver because I have very sensitive ears and anything but 9 CT gold makes my ears bad.

I have some very similar but iCal with a silver setting that always gets compliments @LaurieFairyCake . Those are lovely.

I’ve bought multiple pairs lovely earrings at a reasonable cost from poking around Etsy.

I’ve got diamond screw back studs (present can’t recall where from) I wear a lot and pearl studs (also present). Also Tiffany gold silver daisy (also discontinued) a present.

I also have Lovisa pizza huggy earrings (sold out) which my toddler nephew chose as Christmas present for me last year, wear those a lot. They do similar novelty ones if that floats your boat. Also got small round Tiffany engraved ones (think discontinued but bought those myself) which I wear a lot. I alternate these. Friend did get me from USA banana republic pearl studs which are really nice too. Look more expensive than they are.
