Does a perfect strapless bra for big boobs exist?

HolidayHappy123 · 06/06/2026 13:32

I’m looking for a non-padded strapless bra in size 34FF without ridiculous moulded cups the size of my head!!

I’d ideally like something with a plunge front to wear with strappy summer dresses.

Does such a bra exist or am I looking for a unicorn?

No! I’m a 34D (properly measured) and have never found anything that works.

I am just following to see does anyone answer as I need one too

I had a lot of reccomendations for the Curvy Kate Luxe, I bought it for my wedding and hated it, i ended up wearing a regular white bra, luckily my dress wasn't strapless but the top was lace. I wouldn't discount trying it on my experience as loads of women loved it.

Wonderbra strapless

AnnaMagnani · 06/06/2026 16:43

Yes but it will be in a different size to your normal size, and 'the perfect bra' will be different for everyone depending on your personal shape.

I think I tried on most of the stock in Bravissimo, was about to give up and then the last option was perfect.

Wonderbra ultimate strapless. It has plastic ‘hands’ inside that literally hold you up.

I wore mine from 10am til 1am at my wedding and it did not budge.

I also am the proud owner of some rather oversized boobs. I have never found a strapless bra that has worked for me.

AnnaMagnani · 06/06/2026 16:53

Re-read the OP and have revised my opinion. No, a strapless bra without enormous moulded cups that also allows a plunge front isn't going to happen.

The technology just doesn't exist.

AppleKatie · 06/06/2026 17:11

Nope you need a corset what you describe doesn’t exist

rosiebr · 06/06/2026 21:34

I highly recommend the Boux Avenue strapless microfibre. I’m a F cup and searched for years. This one is the absolute boss.

rosiebr · 06/06/2026 21:35

Sorry just to add, it has a little padding but I think that you need a little bit for a strapless or it just won’t work.

emmetgirl · 06/06/2026 21:37

Here hoping to find out if it does!

Wonderbra strapless

Michelle Mone?

I mean if it’s got no straps, no front and no cups where do you imagine the support would come from?

Id use heavy duty body tape to hoik them up and keep them in place and prevent the dress from moving.

HolidayHappy123 · 06/06/2026 22:03

I’ve ordered the Boux Avenue as ot does look like it fits the brief.

Did it work out ok OP?

The Boux Avenue looks promising but I haven’t got the sizing right yet. I’m a 34G in my regular M&S minimiser bra, so I ordered 34F, 34FF, 34G, 36F, 36FF and 36G.

The 34 band was comfortable, not tight but it still felt secure. But the cups were huge. I reckon I could have got a pair of socks inside the 34F.

The moulded cups are inevitable at this size, but they were much softer and less rigid than anything I’ve tried before. And the wires have some slight padding around them to stop them digging in. There was a decent plunge so I might actually get to wear a very low cut dress I’ve bought for holiday.

So I’m off to order the 34DD and 34E and will let you know how I get on.

For context I am mid 50s, size 12 (dropped from size 20 thanks to WLI).

Consider the 32 band too, in a strapless it needs to be tight to hold up the weight without straps! At a size 12, a 32 shouldn’t be uncomfortable.
