Bag for wedding help please

Going to a wedding at the end of June. We are staying too far from the venue to go back and forth. Wedding starts at 12 and taxi back arranged for midnight. I’d like to be able to take a small spray deo, a little make up for a refresh, as well as tissues, brush, maybe a small hairspray. It I can find the right bag I might even take some flats for the evening. If it looks like it’s going to be very hot I’ll want to decant some suncream too. I’ve a small purse type bag which I can use for phone, lippy but I don’t have anything smart enough for all the other bits and bobs. I want something that looks ‘weddingy’ enough, but that I would be able to use again.
I’m not really sure where to start with styles to search on for Google/Vinted etc so am asking for your thoughts. So: in the above scenario, what bag would you take? I’d love links if possible. It doesn’t matter about colour at this point as I am just trying to work out what I want. I do know I will want to be able to fasten it closed so zip or other fastener.
I will add comments to anything suggested to help better explain what I do or don’t like to help you help me
All suggestions appreciated to help me narrow down my search
And while you’re on, anything else you would take for the day?
Thank you

You want a zipped tote of some description but tbh I wouldnt worry too much about the look of the bag - if the whole thing is in one place you can sling the bag in the cloakroom.

Yes I’ll be able to park it somewhere, but would still like it to look ok for when I’m carrying it around with me. DH said I could just take a carrier bag, which isn’t going to happen!!

I’m at a wedding in Portugal in July. Have similar needs to you and have gone for this.

What colour is your dress? I'd be getting a clutch bag which has the option of a strap which could also be hidden inside if you wanted to carry it in your hand. These are just to give ideas of what I mean. You could obviously get similar from ebay/vinted.

As a side note, these are folding shoes which are great to slip into a small bag.

Thank you for the suggestions. I do have a small bag which matches my dress which I can use for phone/lippy/cards/cash but I’m looking for something bigger for the other stuff which I won’t carry around with me all day.
Really appreciate the link to the folding flats, such a good idea, thank you

I had a similar dilemma and needed a bit of of capacity in a bag that would hold various things for the day. I used similar to this (it's not designer, but cute and fit the bill for carrying stuff). I packed a small clutch in the bigger bag for the basics at the wedding itself, and put the bigger bag under the table! It might be too big for your needs but it suited mine perfectly on the day!

Ooh I love that thank you. A bit more than I was planning on spending but I do really like that style.

That bag to me would be an investment as I could use it again. Yes to the foldable ballet flats/ballerinas. They’re comfy and handy.

Thank you. I’m leaning towards straw as I need a similar sized bag for a holiday in July. These particular bags are a bit fussy for me personally but I can appreciate that they are very pretty and it’s helping me narrow down what I am looking for, thanks

If you had a small, fold away brush, folded shoes, tissues, deoderant, small hair spray, little bottle of sunscreen and a lipstick, surely you don't need a massive bag? Some more ideas, but appreciate they might be way off:

Personally, I'd never buy from shein, but another option:

i guess but just wanted to use my small bag with a wrist strap most of the time and just pick up the bag with the other stuff in when I needed it. Shein link doesn’t seem to work for me, happy to receive all ideas even if I don’t order from there. I like a couple of the Monsoon bags. Thanks for all your effort, appreciate it

Yes that was my thinking. A summer bag for holidays etc rather than something I only used once for the wedding. So an investment.

I am having to stop myself using it (before wedding) but I’m really pleased with it.

I have this bag (sun hat for scale). Google lens brings up several similar.

I've taken it to weddings with spare shoes and a pashmina as well as usual handbag stuff. Plenty of room. Straps are long enough to go over your shoulder and tuck it comfortably under your arm. It's from M&S Per Una but years old. I think the one on eBay is the same model but I don't know if it would go with your dress.
