I had a few successes yesterday: thank you to everyone who recommended the BoJ rice & honey mask, I used it for the first time and my skin looks amazing!

I also used one of my many Elasticizers. I'm sure I used it years ago and was unimpressed, but this time it's done wonders for my hair. Quite glad I've got a few in the stash now!

Damn - just placed a large Boots order and forgot about the extra discount code!

I’m v disappointed in the Prime range so far. The primer with spf basically feels like sunscreen, where I was hoping for something like the No7 Pro Artist primer, which is fabulous. Such a shame, but after a few tries, I’m ditching it. Not a huge fan of the gel / cream face wash either. It’s fine, but nothing more than that.
OTOH I haven’t tried any of the actual skincare, which I suspect is probably pretty good, given their history with these things.

Id use it on my hands. X

Don't worry I think they turned if off, it wasn't working as of around 8pm.

It was working for me this morning 🫠

Hicupping · 08/06/2026 11:14

Weird, I've got 3 clinique like the other poster, still doesn't work MEAGANSC15

user593 · 08/06/2026 11:30

It’s working in the app for me. I just tried it with three Clinique cleansing balms. (I was testing it on Chanel earlier - annoyingly all the items I want are OOS!).

user593 · 08/06/2026 11:32

It’s also stacking the 20% off with the 3 for 2 then adding the 15% off below.

@Twinsandsome Escentual are excellent. Some great offers and always fast and reliable delivery.

openended · 08/06/2026 11:45

I put through my boots order last night and it worked for me. I did use a different influencer code and used the app so don't know if that makes a difference. A few content creators have been on a boots brand trip recently so lots have 15% off codes floating about. I picked up some clinique products for dh for father's day.

user593 · 08/06/2026 14:56

Well I stalked the Boots website until Chanel Water Fresh Tint came back into stock in a shade I think I can make work (I got Medium, which I think will be fine for Summer), with the discount and additional 15% off code it was £38.08!

Hicupping · 08/06/2026 14:58

The UNQ436 worked though :-)

The UNQ436 worked though :-)

That’s so strange. I only ever used the ‘Meagan’ code but when it accepted it it changed it to UNQ436!

Hicupping · 08/06/2026 17:35

What is the point of 'remember me' on the boots site.

Thelifeofawife · 08/06/2026 18:04

@MrsBnow12 @SummerLimes @Fillybuster Thank you for the No7 Prime range feedback. I’ll swerve it for now then, as it was the primer and cleanser I was interested in.

Did anyone try the Medik8 total protect moisturiser in the recent JL beauty box? To me, that is also like sun cream, it’s very thick and I’m not enjoying using it at all - and I purchased two of the boxes specifically for that as I generally love Medik8 products 🙈😅 I will use it, but feel like it would be better for makeup-free holidays, and I have nothing planned.

@Twinsandsome Another vote for Escentual from me. I’ve placed a few orders and had no issues, and the prices are generally the best.

@Hicupping Oh tell me about it, Boots drives me mad with the ‘remember me’, it never works. I honestly don’t see the point, if someone wants to break into my account to purchase something, why would Boots not want the sale?! 🫠

IDontHateRainbows · 08/06/2026 18:58

Is anyone else finding next day delivery a con? I currently have 3 orders from different places supposedly on next day delivery which ive paid a subscription for not even moving.

Space nk- ordered Friday showing as processing not even despatched yet

Look fantastic ordered yesterday not even despatched

Selfridges usually very good but said they need an extra day.

Ive paid for this service- narked off!

The medik8 is my favourite SPF @Thelifeofawife. It's definitely an SPF though, I use a moisturiser underneath and I wouldn't use it in the evening or if I wasn't leaving the house.

I've tried so many SPFs as I wear it every time I leave the house, which means every time I wear makeup - which is a pain because makeup looks so much better without an SPF underneath. Lots of the ones I've tried (BoJ, Caudalie, violette) have irritated my skin or eyes, pilled under makeup, been really greasy or have a horrible smell.

I do like Elemis and La Roche posay, and I've just ordered a tinted LRP as I'm hoping that will help with my melasma. I also bought the Boots SPF box so I have some more minis still to try (round lab birch, shiseido, skin + me, rituals, Lancaster). But most of the time I'm sticking with the medik8 - at least it works and it doesn't irritate my skin.

TragicMuse · 08/06/2026 19:00

Your post @Thelifeofawife made me think of the Omorovicza night cream from a recent box. It’s so thick and only needs a bit so a small pot is going to last aaaaaages! Good value but heavy going…

MrsDahliaTravers · 08/06/2026 19:01

Thanks for the Boots code, I ordered the festival beauty box and got 15% off 😊

BookShark · 08/06/2026 19:57

@IDontHateRainbows I'm still grumpy about my SNK order - still no dispatch date for something I ordered on 29th May. Admittedly I didn't pay for next day delivery, but that shouldn't impact the dispatch time. Just cancel online orders until you sort out the warehouse!

Hicupping · 08/06/2026 21:01

I've ordered the clinique redness cleanser - never really got on with clinique but times and skin changes and it has very good reviews and £36 for 3 when it's normally £27 each is a fab price. Companies must be getting desperate. Would like to try the moisturiser but at £50 a pop and no mini sizes about never mind.

Got shade 2 in the bader lip balm with Sofia Coppola - buttery, quite sheer, noticable but can see plenty of lip through, lovely packaging. It's reduced on CB, got my 200 points and used a £20 voucher so technically free.

Also got my yesstyle today - the Tocobo lip powder balm in mono red (muted brick red). Love this. Not a hard matte, more coverage than the bader. Going to have to get some more of these.

And in other new snails have eaten pretty much all my pansies. They looked so good before the little sods.

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 08/06/2026 21:25

The revenge of the snails. Maybe they are coming for us for nabbing their mucin. That would be an inordinately slow apocalypse.

Doglover73 · 08/06/2026 21:45

. Where did you get the cliniqur redness cleanser from? @Hicupping

Hicupping · 08/06/2026 21:51

@Doglover73 Boots with the 3 for 2, 20% off with £35 spend and 15% off code. Came to £36.20 ish. Also got 380 points plus went via vouchercodes so should be worth VIP £2.50

Doglover73 · 08/06/2026 21:57

I went on boots, locked me out of account after several attempts. It saves it on app but not on website through voucher codes 🙄

user593 · 08/06/2026 22:09

I just reordered the Chanel Water Fresh Tint as one of the Water Fresh Blush came back into stock (Light Peach) so together I got 20% off code + 15% off + £6 in bonus points. I need to stop stalking the Boots app now!
