Found a replacement for Double Wear hooray!!

After lots of trials and wasted bottles ... Benefit Porefessional. I find it goes on exactly the same as Double Wear, can wear with the same primer/powder and lasts all day. Hooray!!

Now does anyone know what I can do with the barely used bottles of Mac etc that I tried that weren't any good?

I clicked as I've just gone back to double wear foundation after many years, isnt porefessional a primer instead of a foundation? Or do you get double wear primer too?

I was colour matched in Sephora & bought from there and then found it £15 cheaper on Look Fantastic 😖

Never come across this one so will add it to a list to try - I'm not near a big city so really struggled with getting good samples.
After lots of research (MAC also didn't do it for me), I've settled with Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Wear, it may have been colour specific for me as I'm pale but not cool pale - for anyone interested 135n is a good match for desert beige.

Yes, that's the one, many of the alternatives I tried were too orange, this was by far the best match for me. It's not 100% the same but the coverage is good and actually with a bit of primer is staying on longer than the DW did. Worth asking for a sample and trying it for a few days. Good luck!

Huda easy blur toasted coconut was my replacement. Takes some layering to get the coverage for Double Wear but it does get there. The benefit for me is that I can top it up in the late afternoon if I’m going straight out from work as it’s made for layering. I couldn’t top up double wear at work without caking cakey!

I think in Double Wear I was shade Warm Vanilla and in Porefessional I'm 7N 'Savvy'
