Florida….July…..heat….help!

Going to Florida for two weeks in July. It’ll be roasting.

Need ideas for comfortable shorts that won’t rub the chub.

I’m not too keen on wear chub rub shorts under normal shorts or dresses - have been looking at double layer running shorts and the Halara double layer shorts.

recommendations please - it’s about comfort and lack of rub as opposed to style!

5ft 7 - between 14-16 dress size

thank you!

I was going to suggest halara shorts double layers

I’ve just bought a pair of Halara shorts for the exact same reason. Florida in July. I love the heat and the humidity but shorts can be tricky. And skirts are a no-no due to the chub rub.

I bought a pair of Halara 9 inch length shorts on Vinted. The ones with the inner shorts. I’m very impressed. Wore them this week in the 32 degree heat.. all good. Super comfy. So ordered a couple more from Halara direct.

I’m a size 14 and got the medium sized. Good fit.

I’m 5”7 and the 9 inch are a good length on me. I have ordered the 7 inch as well which I think might be best for Florida heat.

Sometimes a shorter short is more flattering, ironically! I like the 7inch one

Thanks for the replies.

what halara shorts did you buy? They are a lot of styles with the double layer?
