Help me match an eyeliner colour!

I’ve loved Aveda’s Sepia eye pencil for years and had no idea that they discontinued their make-up range a while back. Every summer when I have a little colour to my skin, I used their Sepia eye pencil and I had 3 bought up but now, I’m coming to the end of my last one. Gutted!

I’ve tried to colour match and cannot find inexpensive that’s even close - eyeliners/pencils in brown are always too dark to come even close. I’ll attach a pic but Sepia is like a light tan colour.

Image is under review but even on my hands looks a dark brown - it really isn’t - it’s a tan colour. Please help me colour match it!

Not a budget option, but I think Victoria Beckham Cinnamon would be a good alternative. They are lovely to use, Lisa Eldridge ones are too. Not sure she has a tan though.

Ive not checked any brands outside of Boots (live rural)so don’t have any luxury make-up stores near. I’ll have a look at her stuff now!

OP can you get a more accurate colour image ? Maybe have a look at the Pantone chart ?
Daniel Sandler does a standard dark brown and also a (less easy to find) lighter brown, I think from what you describe though, that the light brown might not be quite the right colour. Have a look at his website to compare the shade to yours.
Victoria Beckham has a more Terracotta like tan colour. Perhaps too orange in tone compared to yours ?

Zoeva have a metallic Amber and a Metallic Caramel, both in that colour range but shimmery, I think yours is Matt ? Again worth a look though.
