Barrel leg jeans

Any suggestions for where a short legged 60 year old can buy non voluminous barrel legged jeans. I’m 5ft 4 and a size ten to 12.

M&S mid waist barrels.
I'm 5ft 3 & wear the extra short as I prefer a cropped look for summer. However the sizing is very variable in this particular style & colours. Alternatively the carrot leg jeans are a slimmer fit if you're not keen on the barrels.

I have some from Abercrombie and some from Zara. I’m quite bottom heavy though so barrels read less voluminous on me generally. Didn’t get on with the M&S ones as they were way too big on the waist.

I have been dying to try on a pair of barrel leg jeans, just to see if they suited me. While out shopping with a friend, I tried
on the M and S ones mentioned above in 12R. I am the same size, height and age as you Op but long legs. M and S is a good place to start as a lot of choice in styles, sizes and lengths.
They were quite snug around the waist and came just above my ankle.
Friend (Very stylish) confirmed my suspicion that they looked ridiculous on me. Said I looked like Coco the Clown!

Toast Japanese denim barrels are the most fabulous cut.

I got some dark blue ones from
Sainsbury’s earlier this year - fit perfectly, can’t remember cost but £20 at most, and had compliments on them.

I second the M&S carrots if you don't want to go full barrel.

Watching with interest. I’m 56 and 4’11. I got some brilliant mid rise barrels in Primark once. Sadly never seen again. I love them and could not give a feck what anyone else thinks. 😁

I have seen ones in toast and plumo but they seem to be best suited to a willowy twenty something 5ft 9 size 6 kinda girl 😀
