With plantar fasciitis it’s about how it feels more than how it looks

GettingFestiveNow · 27/05/2026 18:25

I've seen worse, and I wouldn't particularly notice if you were wearing them.

DisrobeDatrobe · 27/05/2026 18:31

No, I think they're fine with trousers - they just look functional.

Overtheatlantic · 27/05/2026 18:32

Pretty bad but I wore worse when I had pf. Skechers are what saved me, then Gabor Lanzarote sandals.

KilkennyCats · 27/05/2026 18:33

No, they look really comfortable.

Put your feet first!

ShanghaiDiva · 27/05/2026 18:36

I think they look fine.

Lottapianos · 27/05/2026 18:37

They're fine, and that's a lovely pedicure too!

GardenTable · 27/05/2026 18:38

I opened this expecting to go 'hell yes' but no, not hideous at all.

PhilosophicalCheeseSandwich · 27/05/2026 18:39

They're pretty unnoticeable.

Sparrowsandbudgies · 27/05/2026 18:44

I wouldn’t really notice them, in a good or bad way.

SliceofTosst · 27/05/2026 21:28

They're fine. They look a size too big in the picture though!

Wildwildwoman · 27/05/2026 21:35

I know it should be about how they feel.then look but there so different to what I normally wear and can't objectively tell if they are ok so you have all made me feel better! Thanks

Hmmmm ... I think they're ugly - & I like chunky sandals. They look quite cheap too - are they? Sorry ...

But if they're a medical necessity that's the important thing?

EleanorMc67 · 28/05/2026 02:47

These are recommended for plantar fasciitis & decent-looking, IMO?

Also recommended for it. I'd prefer the first pair I posted, though. Both come in other colours.

I agree with Eleanor. They are ugly. They are also very cheap (£13 from Amazon) so probably wouldn't last and I'd be wary of wearing them for a medical condition.

The Hotter ones are much better and probably much better for your feet.

Cantonet · 29/05/2026 10:20

Hoya, oofos clogs for home, although I live in their flipflops over summer & Hoka were the 3 brands recommended by my foot specialist when I had a year long bout of PF. Wearing those, custom insoles & shockwave cured it. I do appreciate they're all fairly pricy though.

AdarajamesAgain · 20/06/2026 12:46

Reflexology can do amazing things for pf, well worth a try if you can afford it

JaneJeffer · 20/06/2026 13:15

They’re nicer than those Hotter ones

SodOffNigelYouSleazebag · 20/06/2026 13:48

Yes, but who cares, so long as you are not in pain?

Plump82 · 20/06/2026 14:33

I bought the second pair of linked Hotter ones and they ripped my feet to bits.

corblimeygvnr · 20/06/2026 16:30

Yes they are hideous.

CharlotteSometimes1 · 20/06/2026 16:32

Yes

Sidebeforeself · 20/06/2026 16:41

They are not hideous. I have some similar. Wouldn’t be my first choice but I have problem feet. They were from Pavers. Very comfortable.
