Do any of you use sun umbrellas? I burn so easily, seriously considering it.

I would like one of these I have a massive sun hat but I feel too conspicuous wearing it.

All the time - I have two excellent full blocking UV ones we picked up in a convenience store in Japan, one lives in my bag permanently and does double duty for rain and sun.

A sunbrella is particularly good when it's so hot that wearing any sort of hat will just make you melt.

Yes. Here. Also protective hats and sleeves and clothing.

I have one. As PP has said it is really good for when its super hot and a hat will make your head sweaty! Mines from Amazon.
I imagine they will get more popular if the summers continue getting hotter.

@TortephantIm also a Solbari wearer / sun hater. I have a couple of sun blocking umbrellas which I find most useful when sitting at an event where I can’t get out of the sun, walking round I prefer my giant hats and uv protective clothing

I don’t have an umbrella, perhaps I should. I have multiple hats from them though. Totally recommend

I have just used an ordinary umbrella for shade in very hot countries, which worked fine and was much preferable to a sweaty hat, but probably a lighter colour or special UV proof one would work even better.

I can wear a sun hat up to the mid 20s but any hotter than that requires a brolly!
