The new Nivea perfumes, has anyone smelt them? I haven’t seen them out anywhere just online. I love the Nivea smell so I’m tempted. But theyre being flogged to death by influencers which is putting me off. Any of you lovely stylish people have any thoughts?

Aha I think you're an influencer and now you've got me looking this up too lol
Amazon £21
Yellow and blue.

I would like to try that.

No not smelled them.

Plump82 · 25/05/2026 14:48

I've got the white bottle that smells like the white Nivea Soft tube. Smells identical, I love it. But, it doesn't last at all.

landlordhell · 25/05/2026 14:51

Dove soap perfume from perfume parlour.

I bought the oil, my god it’s strong.

rc22 · 25/05/2026 15:54

They're not new. I've using them on and off for a few years. White one smells of Nivea creme and the yellow one smells of nivea sun lotion. If you like the smell of those then the perfumes are worth a try.

I love clean smells, but influencers would sell dog poo scented body spray for 30p a sale so I have no trust 😂
I’d actually be terrific at telling the truth about products. “It’s shite” would be my most commonly used phrase 😁

the Nivea smell is so lovely though, I’m considering it x

I actually live under a rock I swear. I thought I’d just found something super new 😂

They're not new, I have the original bule and white one and it smells just like a big tub of Nivea. It was £12 on Amazon.

MrsCarmelaSoprano · 25/05/2026 16:17

I read that the yellow one smells just like sun cream which is why I avoided it.

ShutupLwren · 25/05/2026 17:16

I love the smell on sun cream!

Oh I have disgusting sense of smell/taste. Remember magazines in the 90s with that sticky sickly strawberry lipgloss? I loved the smell so much I used it as a perfume by rolling into on my wrists. I am the most tacky person I have ever known. If I wouldn’t embarrass my kids I’d probably wear rhinestone belts, cowgirl hats and daisy dukes for the school run whilst smelling like a perfume designed for preen girls 😂 I’m closer to 40 than 30 now and I’d rather eat a few lollipops than a meal deal for lunch 😂 I feel that child like sickly coconut smell might actually be my heaven 😂

Heavy paid promotion does make it hard to separate genuine enthusiasm from sponsored content. From a fragrance formulation standpoint, this scent profile is built around a specific aldehydic powder note with light floral and musk. A new perfume line built around that would need to capture those core accords to be worth buying for that reason specifically. If the smell is what you love, the most reliable test is still smelling it on your own skin rather than in the bottle.

That aldehyde, artificial powdery scent is definitely what I’m after.

i think I’ll have to find somewhere that sells it so try it.

I’ve been looking at these for ages now and I’m non the wiser which one to order. But I love powdery clean smells. My very favourite smell currently is a particular washing up liquid from Lidl. It smells like clean 😂

They're not new, I think i first bought them over 10 years ago. The blue one smells exactly like the nivea shower cream. Its a nice smell but not really one I want for a perfume. I love the Nivea Sun perfume. It smells like the original sun tanning oils of the 70s. Just a lovely nostalgic summer scent. I love 'sunscreen' perfumes though - Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Guerlain Terracotta, Estee Laude Bronze Goddess, Mugler Alien Goddess, Bobbi Brown Beach. The Nivea Sun fits in with these. It can go down to under £10 on Amazon at times at which point ill stock up. Nivea Love shower gel smells exactly like the Sun perfume and really like that for summer as well.

It lasts all day if you spray your clothes rather than your skin.

Go for the original to start with. If you love the smell of Nivea you will love it and then can get the other one later.
