Has anyone seen any tiered summer dresses in plain colours please? I don’t suit patterns at all. Size 20.

Budget up to about £50 as I’m losing weight.

I like this Hush dress but it’s too expensive at the moment.

The dress you linked to is very nice @Blueberryme ,what if you got it and 1 or 2 others and just wore them loads rather than many cheaper dresses you may not like as much?

I have several but they're sleeveless. I love a long teired dress!

Octavia64 · 24/05/2026 21:23

Sainsbury’s had loads in today,

OhThePotential · 25/05/2026 01:21

If you’re OK with eBay this comes in XL, which it says is a 20.

Its not second hand and looks lovely on the photo but for £10.80 I wouldn’t expect it to be quality.

Tiered Dress

I’d buy the one you really like for £110, wear it loads this summer then sell it for whatever you can get for it.

Do you want sleeves or is sleeveless/strappy fine? What colours do you suit/like?

This is cotton & in budget, though is self-patterned - but is a single colour? In black too.

A bit over budget, over-the-knee rather than midi, comes in four colours.

The Seasalt outlet on eBay has some nice dresses well under budget?

This is last year's colour in the full-price Seasalt one above - on the outlet so in budget.

Though animal print, it barely reads. This is a good shape.

Since you liked the Hush one - here's an organic cotton one from Hush.

Ignore that - it's a size 14! God the sizing on Vinted annoys me ...

Blueberryme · 25/05/2026 09:08

Thanks you everyone’s for your suggestions - these are mostly brands I’ve not considered and which I like so off to order some to try on.

I do prefer a shirt sleeve as I don’t like my arms.

@Blueberryme These are maybe not quite what you want but might work. All M&S and well priced.

Nobody’s Child has loads of tiered dresses, and some with short sleeves. They’re a bit higher than your budget though and I can see range from £50-£80 each x

I got a plain one from Amazon Basics a couple of years. It is surprisingly flattering and versatile - a medium weight that you can wear with tights and teeshirts under in cooler weather, and on its own now - quite nice and cool. I have worn it all year round.🍀

Update on my post just now OP. The dress from Amazon is still on sale. Its called Grecerelle Womens Summer Maxi Dress (its shorter than maxi in real life). Very comfortable except slightly scratchy round the waist where there is a seam. easily sorted by wearing thin camisole or vest top underneath. I bought the plain blue which is darker than the photo (though it is called Navy Blue).
