Comfortable wedge sandals for Ascot

Hello, could anyone recommend truly comfortable heels suitable for Ascot? I have difficult feet. I'm in my mid-fifties, have had bunion and hammer-toe surgery, and have always preferred comfortable shoes since my mid-20s. I'm searching for something that won't cause blisters, looks good, and where wedge heels seem to apply less pressure on my feet. Any suggestions besides giving up? 😆

Jones boot maker and Moda in pelle make metallic wedge sandals and are comfy.

The brown things are just awful for Ascot. Look at Sole Bliss. Wear low heels or even flats. The clumpy things posted are going to be impossible to style. Also if you go for any heel, take a pair of folding flats in your bag. It’s hard work walking back to your car at the end of the day!

I love the metallic idea. I will be on the train, bringing flats.
Thank you so much

Do you need to wear heels? You could get some really nice flats.

My mate swears by Next Forever Comfort range. They have a big range of shoes. Also Heavenly Feet.

Have a look at Tamaris shoes, but agree with Sole Bliss too.

I bought some lovely moda in pele wedges. Very comfortable as 100% leather but like with ANY new shors, i got blisters the first time i worr them. Pack some compeed nlisters plasters, they really help

@aquashiv And there’s a walk to the station and standing around. Lower heels are just so much easier!

The thing to buy is the compeed blister stick. Rub this on areas where shoes rub and you won’t get blisters.

It has honestly saved my feet from blisters so many times!

I also really struggle with shoes, I usually end up buying expensive shoes and still have blisters, I bought these Gold Espadrille Wedge Heeled Sandals from Asda, just looked and been reduced £12, bargin. Wore them on holiday all week and no problems.

@aquashiv Yes. Windsor is down the track and it’s a picnic area. You can wear what you want - no dress code. You will still see the carriages though and horses on the way to the start and flashing by during the race.
