I thought I was sorted for swimwear for a holiday we have coming up but one swimsuit could really do with being replaced so I’m on the hunt.
Im currently a size 20-22 which makes it hard enough but also have size 38GG chest that needs decent support.

Has anyone bought anything recently that is supportive on a larger bust? 🤞🏼

Bravissimo are great.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 23/05/2026 22:39

Second Bravissimo

also Pour Moi do nice cup sized swimwear

coneyislandoldspot · 23/05/2026 22:47

Yours and simply be have some lovely ones that I have my eye on

AuntieDolly · 23/05/2026 22:48

Fantasie cup sized swimwear is good

FriendofDorothy · 23/05/2026 22:55

My favourite comes from Bonmarche of all places!

JustAMum90 · 24/05/2026 07:54

@WhatsTheEffingPoint @MarshmallowsOnToast what’s the fit like on the body with Bravissimo? Last time I tried cup sized swimwear it was all more for a slimmer body with bigger chest.

@AuntieDolly Same question about Fantasie? Any feedback on fit in the body would be great. I really struggle with it!

@FriendofDorothy I don’t suppose you have a link to the Bonmarche one? (Or similar if it’s an older one?) ☺️

@coneyislandoldspot I have tried Yours and wasn’t happy with the support in the bust at all - I feel like I’m falling out of it 🫠
Any specific ones to look at in Simply Be? ☺️

Belle lingerie stocks a range of swimwear. I usually buy Bikinis with a bra sized top. They sell swimsuits too. Also bought a bikini directly from elomi as they have an outlet section with reduced prices

Freddobar · 24/05/2026 08:22

I've the same problem but I'm a 38hh and size 18/20 on top size 16 on bottom depending where I buy clothes. I've ordered some bikini tops from NEXT I tried swimming suits on in M&S yesterday in size 20 and no good..too tight and falling out on top and too baggy on the bottom half.

This is the one I have. I have bought the same style 5 or 6 times now.
I am a size 20 with 38FF bust and find this very comfortable. It looks a little fuddy-duddy but is very flattering and I get a lot of compliments. I spent a lot of time on the beach and swimming and it feel comfy and supportive.

I have two or three of these Magisculpt ones from Simply Be. The straps are removable and they still hold me up.

Galaxylights · 24/05/2026 10:32

Have you tried yours? I love their swimsuits.

Arran2024 · 24/05/2026 10:33

I would recommend bonmarche- i have three of theirs (i swim most days) and they are a great option for the price.

Devilsmommy · 24/05/2026 10:36

Try Brastop, they have them for larger bust sizes

CatsLikeBoxes · 24/05/2026 10:42

How about a tankini? In the past I've bought them from bravissimo. You get the cover, but if you're worried about if they're d signed for a particular cup size but a slimmer body. They usually have varying coverage options for the bottom but, and you can buy your actual size for them.

MrsMoastyToasty · 24/05/2026 10:47

I buy tankini tops from Bravissimo @ ££ then team them up with cheaper bottom halves from places like Matalan or Sports Direct.

WhatsTheEffingPoint · 24/05/2026 23:27

@JustAMum90 sorry only just seen your reply. I'm a 34JJ so I always have to find a bikini top that covers and keeps me in. Every bravissimo suit I have fits perfectly (i do the jump up and down test and give it a good shimmy behind closed doors, think zumba 🙈) and in line with my usual bra size.
Bottoms wise, again i go with my usual size and they fit perfectly.
Bravissimo help desk are really good too if you need anything/help they literally talk you through how it all sits and fits then will make any suggestions if needed.
I have 3 from them and all of them are years old and still in good condition.

I’m a size 18-20 and bust size 38GG/40H (currently in a Panache Envy). I have found some great swimsuits the last couple of years which I’ll try to link, two from Pour Moi and one from Next. The ones from Pour Moi are very good quality, fully lined and have a high back which is important as although they are not cup sized, they have support in them and the high back helps provide the support keeping it level around your back. I feel secure in both.

Avoid at all costs a scoop back as your boobs will just push forward and the straps will want to fall off!

The Next is also dress sized not cup sized and has a high back to help it fit better but the style is a bit more booby. Worth a try though.

bravissimo have a great customer service in store and will get you loads of stuff to try but the last time I went there I found nothing suitable unfortunately, maybe due to the stock they had left toward the end of the season. I’ve had tankinis previously from Panache directly which have been good. They are a bit of a pain to get on though due to the underwiring.

Bravissimo. I’m a 16. Size 36GG and I’ve had the same swimsuit for years. Amazing support for my boobs and so comfy. Their swimsuits basically have built in bras.

vanillasugar2 · 25/05/2026 15:11

Elomi are great
