The ones @EleanorMc67 posted are gorgeous!

Mine are very full. After years of birkenstock Arizonas, my feet couldn't handle it this year. I've gone back to the sandals of my youth and bought some black tevas. And also like in my youth, when I just had the one pair, I will wear them with everything.

Im limited to what I can buy because I take a 5.5 wide fit. A five crushes my toes and a 6 looks like Im wearing my mums shoes.
I found these retro stacks off ebay brand new and I love them. They make me quite a lot taller and look great under flared jeans.
I wore similar shoes as a teenager in the 70s.

"full" is a typo for "dull" in my post.

Birkenstock Naples

@patooties do you have a link to the ones you bought please? Thanks

Go on next. Type in silver ballerinas they are leather woven ones that come up first.

I like slingbacks and two-tone shoes, so something like these.

I often wear tailored navy dresses, so these too.

Honestly Id probably get another pair of Converse in a pattern or colour I dont have (in fact 2 pairs coz Id get them off Vinted!!).😁
My shoe game never gets updated though, its Converse in summer and chunky boots in winter!

If you want something fashionable, but not necessarily following the insta looks of today, go for a sneakerina

Fit flop gracie. I already had chunky sandals

If you want a more classic shoe that will go with everything in your wardrobe, then the Penelope Chilvers are great- these are the comfiest shoes I own. I have the leopard, but the tan will go with loads

I felt like I needed a couple of pairs to update my wardrobe, I ended up with the Tu cream ballerinas above, they go with EVERYTHING and look deceptively simple. Just wish they were leather and the straps were better.

I also bought some toe ring sandals from TK Maxx, as I can't do a toe thong, and some silver Adidas slimline shoes. Last year's mesh Mary Janes are back out too.

The most dated look around for fashion at the moment appears to be chunky sandals. Obviously what's in fashion is not really important at all, but I'm just telling you what I see online, on fashion blogs, etc.
