DD’s school are having a prize presentation at the opera house in the city centre where we live. This is our first year at the school and I have been told that everybody gets ‘really dressed up.’ I don’t know how dressed up this means since most of us do the school run in jogging bottoms so in comparison to that, everything is dressed up. Anyway one of the members of staff said she wanted to let us know that people go really dressy for the fun of the occasion. I am post partum and have no dresses that I got into or feel comfortable in. Can anybody please give me some inspiration?

My tummy and upper arms are my problem areas that I like to conceal.
I am quite short.

i don’t like cleavage on show - have really big boobs these days.

thank you!

Is it day or evening?

Go really dressy is a bit unhelpful! What’s the official dress code - lounge suit / black tie / other?
