Linen trousers

Hello mumsnet style gurus! Please can you help?

I'm looking for some straight leg/ tapered summer trousers that are proper full length (29-30 inches) rather than 'ankle grazers'.

Budget is £50 - but honestly under £35 would be nice!

Linen blend is absolutely fine or cotton - just something thin and not sweaty for summer. Black, green, blue, grey are all fine. Not white.

Everything I am seeing just seems to have massive wide legs which really don't suit me. In M&S and Next the other day, everything with a straight or tapered leg was an ankle grazer or crop, or if it was full length it was a huge curtain leg.

I just want a normal pair of regular, straight leg, full length summer trousers that cost under £50.

Can anyone help me please? :)

How tall are you? I am 5'3 and wear M&S "short", recently bought some ankle grazers in regular to get the full length, and it works just fine :)

@cuberoot I normally wear regular length. I have tried tall length but they've been of proportion on me on the waist/ crotch. Maybe I could try it in other styles... just annoying that they don't seem to make normal, straight, regular length trousers!

I purchased the ‘peat’ (ie chocolate brown) linen mix trousers which are only £22 from M and S. They come in different lengths. Absolutely love them.

They're a slim wide leg if that makes sense. Loose fitting but not baggy, and I have skinny legs.

I’m interested in these too. I’m tall (5.9) and usually wear a 16. Would you suggest getting long or regular?

@MyGirlJ @Silverbirchleaf Thank you! I found them on the website, I can see that they might be slim for a wide leg but they still look so wide to me. I'm sure they would be too baggy for me at the bottom sadly.

I really don't like the big drapey look that is all over the place at the moment.

I'm just looking for some regular trousers that are the size of my actual legs.

Anyone know where i can get cotton ones from like 100% cotton.
