Mid-price Italian clothing brands and shopping areas to try in Rome?

I'm going to Rome next week and will have time to do some shopping. I wasn't sure whether to post in the Style or Travel section.

I have lost my mojo a bit after an illness so looking to buy a couple of Summer tops and dresses to liven up my wardrobe. I am 50 years old and a short UK size 10 and usually buy from Zara, Jigsaw and Mint Velvet. I don't really have the budget for designers such as Max Mara etc but interested in hearing about any mid-price Italian brands I should keep an eye out for or particular shopping areas in Rome.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

It's a few years since I was in Rome and I can't help much with specific names or labels but I do remember that Trastevere had quite a lot of independent clothes shops (and also vintage shops if they're your thing too). It was also a good neighbourhood for restaurants and coffee shops and general meandering - basically a very pleasant way of spending a day. I'd check that's still the case before you head out there. Hope you enjoy your trip.

Around Piazza Navona there are lots of little shopping streets with boutiques. WooSide is a nice Italian brand to look out for
