Please help me style this skirt

please can you help me find a top for this skirt for a nice dinner?

This is one of the only things I use AI for. I really struggle to visualize outfits. (have added an image)

I think I would stay slinky with a silk camisole in a similar colour, topped with a boxy black linen jacket, or even a leather jacket. Or, if you want a contrast, then I like @RavenclawWitchy crisp white shirt, or maybe even a crisp white T shirt with rolled up or cap sleeves. Jewellery might be amber or an armful of gold (or both!) and personally I'd want more low key, low height shoes, maybe satin or grosgrain or soft suede pumps in a colour to match the skirt.

Teal knit or crochet or navy blazer and a cream pearly shirt with a dark brown slim belt on the waist or if you can find a matching shade top to the skirt in a light fabric to look like its a dress.

If i were trying to match, would i have to get exactly the right shade on top? it might be very hard

I think lighter mustard/ochre could work.
It's a tough colour but try H and M, Zara, Bershka.. They usually have light see through peplum blouses with lace that could work.

I think teal might overpower the mustard?
