Cheapest Birkenstocks?

canuckup · 17/05/2026 22:20

Where would be the cheapest place to buy Birkenstocks?

I know back in the day TK Maxx used to do them for around a tenner.

I don't care about the colour.

Tk max still have them occasionally but they’re definitely not £10 anymore and sizes available are got and miss. You might get lucky on Vinted if you’re not overly bothered about colour or style there’s loads of unworn on there

Shinyandnew1 · 17/05/2026 22:38

You want actual genuine but cheap Birkenstocks? They’ll have to be used.

Vinted? EBay?

AreWeHeadingForAnotherLockdown · 17/05/2026 22:40

Ebay, Vinted

Enko · 17/05/2026 22:43

Birkenstock own outlet online.

Besidemyselfwithworry · 17/05/2026 22:55

I was going to say vinted.

I got £30 for some used ones! I was amazed!!!

canuckup · 18/05/2026 02:22

Yeah I definitely want new ones.

Are the tkmax ones real? Surely not.

MyCottageGarden · 18/05/2026 02:55

Brandalley have some reduced right now

TheGirlWhoLived · 18/05/2026 07:06

M and m direct do some end of line ones, you aren’t gonna get them for a tenner though

modgepodge · 18/05/2026 07:09

I gave up and got a different brand. On vinted pairs which had clearly been used (black toe prints on the soles very obvious) were going as ‘like new’ for £30-40! Unbelievable.

Myskyscolour · 18/05/2026 07:14

Do you have small feet? I can find my size 5 in the kids section sometimes, it is cheaper.

HappyHacienda · 18/05/2026 07:51

Vinted BNWT

Ginmonkeyagain · 18/05/2026 08:09

No no no to used Birkenstocks! The whole point of them is that the footbed moulds to your foot.

Yes they are. I bought two pairs, both genuine but this was years ago. I’ve not seen them again.

The ones they have now are cheap makes and are branded accordingly, not as Birkenstock. I take size 36, so quite small, so that may have been the reason they had them at the time.

I have been wearing Birkenstocks for decades and often buy them from
Vinted now as they are so expensive new. Loads of people buy a pair, try them on/wear them once and never again so they are barely used.

I wouldn’t buy a pair that have been worn for 6 months, no, but it’s a good way to get a bargain.

IrisPallida · 18/05/2026 21:41

Do NOT use Vinted for Birkenstocks!

The majority of them are fakes - if you know your Birkenstocks you can clearly tell from the photos. If you do not know your Birkenstocks then you will end up wearing them and wondering why they are so uncomfortable and why they fall apart so quickly.

Even the used ones are mostly fake as they were purchased on Vinted in the first place and are being sold on as they are so uncomfortable etc etc...

Vast majority are fakes on Vinted and EBay .

Office have an ‘outlet’ section with oddments.

Bicester Village (definitely, I have just bought from there) and Cheshire Oaks (I think) have an outlet shop.

I also think you need to try them on. Size (mine are smaller than my usual size) width and whether the footbed arches are in the right place.

Don’t buy second hand either as the footbed moulds to your own foot.

Yes - I was also going to suggest the outlet store at Cheshire oaks depending on where you live, or Office have a website called Offcuts which is ex-display and end of line items, but IIRC you can see a description of the condition when purchasing.

Mybrowsaresisters · 18/05/2026 22:06

Do you have a Designer Outlet village near you? They have Birkenstock shops and really good prices.

Or if anyone fancies a short flight 😆 or is visiting The Netherlands, the best Birkenstock outlet shop is in Den Haag. Crammed with many styles, sizes, colours.

canuckup · 19/05/2026 21:45

Yeah I don't fancy second hand Birkenstocks really, I've had loads of pairs and know they mould to your feet. I'll check for outlets
