So I guess this is 2 questions really. The 1st is what does everyone use for a heat protectant that can be used on damp and dry hair. Dont mind what format whether its spray, cream, oil etc. Im just looking for something that doesn't make hair crispy or greasy and lank.
Secondly do you wash your hair morning or night? I have fine flyaway hair that looks messy and oily in the mornings if I wash the night before but unless I get up extra early O dont have time to shower in the morning. I wash every other day. Should I wash everyday? Should I bite the bullet and shower mornings? Any tips to wake up without it looking like its not been washed.

I wash my hair every 3 days i only use baby shampoo nothing else, towle dry and leave it to air dry all day.
I dont use any heat on my hair at all.

Right now im thinking of shaving it all off, down to a number 7 or 8, i shaved it for years but have let it grow for 2 years, its down my back now.
Its time to say goodby to it.

I have exceptionally fine highlighted hair and use the Bed Head some like it hot heat protector on my wet hair, I then use the GHD aerosol spray when its dry before I straighten.
I wash every other day and always on a morning. I guess fine hair doesn't take as long to dry and style so I only need to set my alarm 20 minutes earlier on a hair wash day.
I use a Cloud 9 hair dryer and straighteners which has helped with the heat damage too.

My hair is super fine and I used kerastase products, pricey but worth it IMO. I wash my hair every 3 days. I do use hair spray and hair fibres so should probably wash daily, but it's just too flyaway, and looks much better on 2nd day.

I don’t use heat on my hair. I wash it with the simple brand shampoo twice a week and let it air dry. Argan oil for frizz and braid at night

I have pretty fine shoulder length hair that’s quite damaged from many years of bleach and box hair dye.

I wash mine every 3 days - unless I swim - with sulphate and paraben free shampoo and conditioner, spray with redken one united, then run a little Percy and reed wonder balm through. Hairdry most of the time but air dry when I can, and straighten/loosely curl/defrizz. Hairdryer is ghd air and straightener is chronos. Sometimes I run a tiny bit of frizz ease through the ends if it looks a bit extra

I get my hair coloured at the hairdresser now though and it’s struggling with fading in the pool. I think I need to switch to a colour safe shampoo/conditioner tbh

I also use a protein mask once a week, considering changing this to olaplex though as I’m debating balayage

Batiste dry shampoo or living proof are great for absorbing excess oil
