Flaking Nails

itstimeforme · Yesterday 21:44

I’m in good health, have had recent blood tests and all are normal. I’m 2 1/2 years post menopause and although my nails are growing well they are flaky and peeling just below the tips. I’ve never had this before, does anyone have any advice, products or supplements that might help? Thank you

@EndoadnowarriorThanks, I knew biotin was good for her. I didn’t realise it was good for nails too.

Colllagen and apply Hard as Nails

as others have posted all fantastic recommendations, also cuticle and nail oil from boots I’ve used for many years (it’s about £10 and rolls on) is great. And keep your nails trimmed short.

I can't find one that rolls on, could you link yours please?

@itstimeforme I sometimes take Biotin tablets and they do seem to work after a month, unfortunately I keep forgetting to buy more until my nails are really bad again. Self care doesn't come easily to some of us 😩
