I’m going to a family wedding in August - it’s a pretty relaxed do - I’m doing all the flowers and it’s , hopefully, in the garden of a village hotel.

im 62 so don’t want anything too wild! I’m wearing this dress which looks great on and matching shoes but no idea what colour to go for with the handbag ( not wearing a hat or fascinator)

suggestions so far - dark green satin, nude or silver. Someone suggested navy satin which sounds a bit weird…. I have no idea so fashionistas of Mumsnet HELP!!

There are some lovely raffia / straw bags around. Just keep it small and make sure it’s got some structure so it doesn’t look like a beach bag.

This Zara one says kids; no idea why!

Raffia/natural - I agree.
Otherwise a dull silver leather, or satin to match shoes.

Dark green could also work if the bag is small, maybe with a long strap if you need your hands for the flower arranging.

A little raffia bag or a silver clutch. I’d wear whatever I had in my wardrobe.
