I'm back from my very full on Harrods/Harvey Nicks day. I was doing so well until today but I'm afraid I have done some damage. 😈It is a big birthday though...so whatever. 😂

New BDK perfume just launched today - all three new ones are very nice. I struggled to choose between Stellar Silk which is a lovely powdery scent but quite subtle and Oud Paradiso which has a pineapple note and is quite unusual. I went for the latter in the end after a couple of hours indecision. They also gave me a 10ml of Gris Charnel as a freebie.
Elemis Cleansing Balm to fulfil the skincare requirement. I go through these quickly so it will get used.
HN (inc GWP)
Casamorati Lira - Discovered this at Harrods but bought from HN. It smells like lemon cake, not my usual type of scent but it's totally yummy. They also have one that smells like a fruity apple pie and you can really detect the pastry. Recommend checking these out in person.
Reome Face Masks - they sound really nice and I got a load of samples of the Active Broth I've wanted to try.
Also got a couple of Fragance du Bois samples.
I received the Ex Nihlio Extrait set as a gift which I'm thrilled with as it has 3 of the scents I've been debating.
Its been a fab day full of shopping, cocktails and lovely food. 😍
For anyone planning to get the Harrods gwp in store it's a bit of a pain this year with the skincare requirement as you have to pay for everything at one counter. So plan what you want in advance of being ready to pay. If buying from separate counters you have to get an SA from one counter to take your items to the other. I did ask if you could just collect receipts then go get the gwp (which is on LG floor). I got mixed answers on this, some said no you have to pay in one go and someone else said yes but you've got to buy everything within an hour of going for the gwp.
I was very pleased when I realised the HN gwp had launched, like others I actually prefer it to Harrods (bar the string bag which I'm not keen on). Sensible me should have ignored it but I was on a cocktail fuelled roll by then!
I didn't end up getting VB Reverie which was at the top of my list when the day started. I decided to bump that for another time seeing as I can get it from SNK etc. at a later point. It feels more wintery too and those I did buy are much more spring/summer.
I think I need to be good for a few months now.
