Time for another thread. Spring and Summer releases are trickling out to tempt us AND the advent calendar waitlists are appearing...hope you are all feeling suitably Christmassy. 😂

Just wanted to flag up the current offer at The Cosmetics Company stores (outlet for The Lauder Group’s premium brands) if you have one handy. On my way down south I stopped at Gretna Gateway and bought three make up items for £45 and that escalates to 10 for £100 if you really need to restock your make up bag.

I bought a Bobbie Brown double ended eyeshadow stick, a Bobbie Brown lipstick and Clinique Almost Makeup powder compact for £45 against an RRP of £107.

They’ve just sent an email telling me they’re extending the offer and adding Tom Ford products to it. Might have to stop off on my way back north tomorrow….

They were all nice but the Citrus one (Silver Ceremony) I would be least likely to wear often.

I really liked the Vanilla Powdery one (Stellar Silk) but it's probably a bit too like VB Reverie so I might need to try them both again later in the year and pick one.

Oud Paradiso, the one I bought was my favourite. The pineapple note is unusual but well done and it's a different scent profile for me. Too easy to fall into buying similar fragrances to what you already have and love. Which is why I passed on Stellar Silk for now.

I'd have been happy with a 3 x10ml discovery set but you don't really get that with new launches.

And if you have AmEx, there's £10 back on your card.

This is very tempting, one of these made me fall in love with ‘Guidance’ so would be ideal to pick up another travel size.
For those with an Amex worth looking at your offers as I have a £10 off £30 spend with Hearst.

Ive just looked at list twice. I came across a second box with nutrition capsules the other day whilst searching for something else. Trying to be sensible so debating what id actually use. I didnt like the hair product. The smell was awful but I dont like avocado. 🤣

Your pineapple fragrance purchase has reminded me that I have something similar from a BAC and I now need to go through my stash to find out which one it was! I also recall thinking what an unusual yet lovely scent it was, and perfect for summer! (It reminded me of pina colada 🍹😁)

I’ve still not put my Harrods order through; I didn’t get home until late last night then read about the Harvey Nichols GWP. Although the HN has some good contents, I think Harrods is the better one for me, despite the bigger spend.

I remembered that I still have some expenses that I need to claim through work, which will be approx £200, so it’s basically free treat money, right? 😁

There's some Gucci beauty items on TKMaxx 😍 I've bought yet another gold highlighter, the skin tint and a lipstick. I don't even know if the skin tint is going to be a good match. When I compared on the cult beauty website, it recommended a shade lighter but I am wanting it for more summer months and holidays so hopefully it'll look ok with a tan. If not, I'll just wear it when WFH 🤣
