Can anyone recommend a home box dye? Cant get to the hairdressers for a while and these roots are bad! Thinking somewhere between the two colours…

I buy Revlon Colourstay from Amazon and use the dark blonde shade which actually turns out a very light brown on me. I've used a lot of box dyes and this is the best.

I find superdrug's own "performance" colours are good. They're usually on offer - i thick its 1 box for ÂŁ6, 2 for ÂŁ10.

Don't know which shade, but as a product I'd recommend L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss semi-permanent. Good coverage and leaves my hair in great condition.

I use this too, but it won't lighten your roots- which is what I'm assuming you want to do? In fact, I buy about 3 shades lighter, otherwise it comes out very dark. You'll need a product with bleach or at least a permanent colour to lighten, but I'm not a hairdresser so hopefully one can advise on here.

Ah, good point. I hadn't twigged that as I've only ever gone for a similar or darker shade.
