Brow lamination nightmare - help!

Hey all. Could do with a little advice from anyone in the know, please. I had my brows laminated last Thurs (so, three days ago) and this is the result. I know they’re wrong, but I’m not sure whether or not it’s my fault.

I’ve had my brows laminated five or six times now and they’ve never looked like this before. I always wait 24hrs (minimum) after the treatment before I wet my face (no showering or anything) or apply any skincare, and I don’t use any harsh acids or retinoids anyway. I apply the HD SOS Rescue Balm twice a day after the initial 24hrs, and I’m careful to sleep on my back.

Have they been under or overprocessed? I messaged the therapist who did the treatment and she told me that brow hairs approaching the end of their natural growth cycle (ones ready to fall out anyway) might react differently to the chemicals, but I can’t imagine both brows were ready to fall off my face entirely. She told me to apply oil and message her again in a couple of days, though I'm not sure what will have changed.

It’s really knocked my confidence and I’m not sure how to proceed. Still applying the rescue balm AM/PM, but they feel awful - crunchy and curling or bent at odd angles. Does anyone have any insight into what may have gone wrong - or any tips or tricks for minimising further damage? Thanks!

EDIT: Should just mention I haven't had my brows done for approx. 10-12 weeks, and before that I went several months between treatments.

Sorry OP I’m clueless about lamination but your brows look ok to me? What exactly is bothering you?

They look a bit odd to me but tbh there is a woman at work who has her brows laminated and they always look odd to me too.

It can look a bit odd (when done properly) on sparse brows unless filled in, yeah. But my issue is that lots of hairs are bent dramatically, or curl at the end, or point straight out of my head! Not the usual effect, anyway. I was hoping someone might know if they look overprocessed.

I have my brows laminated and yours look a bit like mine do if I sleep funny, I.e. a bit messed up but not awful! Can you try brushing them through with gel to get the shape you want then using a bit of eyebrow pencil to fill any gaps. I honestly don’t think they’re as bad as you think.

What is the desired look with brow laminating? It just looks like people have brushed their eyebrows upwards and looks a bit strange to me

If done well it makes them look thicker and fuller

They look frazzled like when a teenager lights a fag off the oven 😂 try hair conditioner
