Does anyone have the Osprey Narissa bag?

Currently coveting this and it is on offer on their website.

Do I really need a new bag? No. Would I get lots of wear out of it? Absolutely it looks like the perfect day bag.

Can anyone tell me what the quality is like? I’ve not had Osprey before. The website says the leather “takes on a Patina” with use. It that code for looks scruffy quickly?

We've got an outlet near us, so I've got several bags from there and never had an issue with the leathers. I think they're OK at sale price but I wouldn't pay full retail.

Thanks. This one’s £165 full price, £115 in the sale and I have a code for a further 10%

I bought a large Ospray black leather bag for work a long time ago in TK max, and they do still get many in stock.

Found the leather to be quite robust but where the handles were fused together with the folded leather started the crack which was pretty poor.

Oh to add I would not buy a bag without a zip opening this only has a flap, security wise would be a no from me.

I think the patina description is just supposed to make it sound more attractive. I've got one of their bags in that leather and it still looks great, nearly new, they use strong leather for those bags.
