Roka bag materials

I bought a Roka bag years ago (which has since been pinched as a school bag 🙄). It was made of a sort of thick nylony material. A bit like canvas made from plastic. I think it might have been recycled bottles?

Anyway, I bought the Bayswater Umbrella recently and the material set my teeth on edge. It reminded me of those plastic rulers that would change picture when you moved them. It was shiny and scratchy on nails and I'm shuddering thinking of it. I didnt even get it completely out of the bag and had to send it back.

Is that what they are all made from now? I dont want to waste my money having to send another one back.

Now I thinK about it all of my Roka bags have different textures. Can not remember the model names but I have two shiny ones, one canvas and one in between the two!

Yeah there are two types of material, I have a large canvas backpack but also a nylon-ish smaller backpack which I got in the lucky dip where the finish is very shiny.

I might have to email them then before I order anything. Thank you.

If you go to the filter, under material you can choose nylon or canvas

You want canvas - they only have 2 materials. The nylon ones are shinier (but easier to clean in my experience).

Some of the bags only come in nylon unless you're buying a pattern (Canfield for example) but it gives you the material in the description.

Thank you for that.

I've missed the offer now. 🤣
