Nude vest or similar to wear under sheer blouses in the office?

I have a couple of sheer blouses, that are just a teeny bit sheer for the office. Any suggestions for what I could wear under them that doesn’t stand out? One is burgundy and the other is cream. I have a couple of nude-ish vests that i sometimes wear but they’re just very obvious and spoil the look of the blouse. Have tried a brown vest under the burgundy one which is a bit better.

wondering if anyone has any genius finds for this kind of thing!

Just get the ones from m and s or Tesco or primary. Camis. Nude colour

Match the colour of the blouse else it might look like you’re not wearing anything underneath which is probably not the right vibe for work!

Maybe wear something else to the office?

If I had a sheer blouse I would wear a blazer and scarf over it and a nude cami underneath.

Apparently red does some magical colour trickery when worn under white shirts/blouses.

Thanks. I maybe need to try some different ones to the ones I already have in a different shade of nude…

Yes, probably a look best avoided!

I totally thought you might be winding me up, but Google tells me this is a thing. Worth a try!

I always match the vest underneath to the colour of the sheer blouse. Works for me.

Thanks for suggestion. I really like a blazer, but I am not great with too many layers.

It depends on your skin tones and doesn’t work if you’re quite pale apparently.

The Internet Says a Red Bra Will Disappear Under a White Tee. Not Necessarily.

Turns out that a popular hack for making sure your bra doesn’t show isn’t quite universal.

Yes I think I might need to order some new vests to try. Was hoping someone might recommend some miracle one that they’d found!

Drat @Windfallwasps I am pretty pale. But you’ve saved me rummaging around to see if I have a red vest.

I love these basic vests from Shein to wear under stuff. They come in so many colours and because they are cropped you dont feel like you are wearing too many layers

A camisole would be better than a vest I think.
