University Reunion

Please help me - I have lost all sense of myself lately, some serious hard times.
I have two weeks before I go to my uji reunion.
I am a size 12, short at 5.5, not the best midriff and feeling very old. Quite saggy and busty - nearly 50.
I’m blonde, olive skinned and looking for clothes in pinks, corals, rose colours or aqua.
I need two outfits that would look good at a pub or a BBQ. Not. A. Clue - please choose some outfits for me.

What about something like this with jeans for one of your outfits? It’s a rose / coral.

What sort of budget do you have and do you like plain designs or more pattern / floral?
I’m sure lots of people will have better ideas than me, but I’m sure you will look great. It sounds as if you’ve been under it a bit lately and feel a bit down, which is tough. Hope you have a lovely time at your reunion.

So maybe jeans and a top as one outfit (or wide leg linen mix trousers if it’s going to be hot) and a
dress and sandals for the other?

You said you were feeling a bit tired and ‘saggy’ so maybe a new bra properly fitted, as that can really help define your waist if everything is sitting right? Perhaps treat yourself to a hair cut / styling to give you a boost?

I can’t imagine how you think your former uni peers will be able to judge your ‘midriff’ unless you deliberately decide to wear a tiny crop top?

(And is there a reason why you’ve left it so late to start preparing for the reunion - surely you’ve had it in your diary for months?)

Anyhow … You mention hard times (my sympathies) - does this mean you’re not in the comfortable position of being able to throw money at the problem? Extra large veg boxes for two weeks? A course of massages and facials? Haircut and colour? New beauty products and make-up? Definitely new, well fitting and supportive underwear, as suggested above.

Does your preference for pinks and coral tones mean that at some stage you’ve had your colours done? Essential Antwerp has quite a lot in those sorts of colours, so is worth browsing whether for inspiration or actual shopping.

Overhaul your posture. Think about walking like a queen, do a bit of yoga off of YouTube.
