Has anyone tried this? Looking at Seranova on an advert and am tempted. Can you give me your honest feedback please.

I started having it done this year and am so annoyed I didn't start it sooner. I'm 46, and go monthly. Have noticed a real improvement. I have dermaplaning first, then microneedling.

I am thinking of getting a dr pen to do it at home and going tkt he salon every other month.

How does this benefit?

BastardtheCat · 04/05/2026 09:55

Thanks @Thehop
If you were to buy your own kit, do you already have one in mind?

I have it done every 4 weeks, I love it and definitely see a difference

BastardtheCat · 04/05/2026 10:15

Would you consider doing it yourself @Worrieddancemum?

The lady who does my botox does it but in the videos she posts there's lots of blood. Is that normal? Icl it puts me off a bit

Worrieddancemum · 04/05/2026 11:28

There’s no blood! I wouldn’t do it myself though!

BastardtheCat · 06/06/2026 07:55

I bought the kit but am yet to use it! Bit nervous of it tbh! What should I expect?!

Have also been considering this - Sali Hughes recently posted similar in that she wishes she had tried it sooner. I see (very occasionally as a lovely treat) a woman for facials that are very much massage based - the lift and glow is incredible, you come out feeling like your cheekbones are up to your eyebrows as it were. She also does a signature facial which still incorporates the lifting massage but with some microneedling, so have been thinking about incorporating this on a semi regular basis.

Sunloungerhogger · 06/06/2026 08:31

Yes to add, I don’t think I would do this myself.

Ooh, I have been thinking about this too.

I would not dream of doing this myself especially if you've not had it done professionally.

The lady I see for eye brow threading uses Genosys which is medical grade and superior to Dr Pen.

I've not had it done yet, but it's something I'm seriously considering after seeing my face in race photos!
