Thoughts on sheer clothing?

Seeing it slightly more now with the brands I shop with

Don’t like seeing anyone’s undergarments. You’d have to be very self confident to wear sheer and it does rather take me back to Bridget Jones and her sheer blouse - was that considered a good look? Certainly wasn’t professional.

It's dull and boring.

Save it for Hollywood.

Save it for nightclubs. It won’t fly in the corporate world. Is this where we are? Either pyjamas or see-through clothes? No wonder I keep having “back in my day” moments 😆

It's ick. No one wants to see what wasn't meant to be seen.

Not something I'd wear to be honest, I'll get slated for this but I think it's a bit trashy and you'd need to be a bit of an exhibitionist to wear it

The example you posted. There's no shape to it. There's nothing interesting about it. It's not a rich, solid black, looks a bit washed out.

I have a couple of sheer patterned long sleeves tops but I only wear them with an opaque vest underneath. And not for work!

My liberty bodice would show right through that 😱

Me too, channelling my 90s self. Always a vest though 😁
