How painful are third lobe piercings for a nervous adult?

Let's talk piercings!!

I'm getting my 3rds done in a few days and I am absolutely 💩 it 🤣
I have anxiety and health anxiety and I am just a nervous wreck over it, even though I've had them done before aswell as my 4ths but I took them out !!
I'm not new to piercings I already have helix, tragus, nose, firsts and seconds obviously but I had all these done when I was a teenager and I'm 36 now 😂 I'm being a big baby and I know it but what is the pain scale out of 10?? And does it hurt ?? 🤣

Is it worth it if you’re a nervous wreck?

I don’t think it hurts at all, but I’m not remotely squeamish or anxious about these things. I also suspect I have a high pain tolerance as someone told me tattoo removal is painful - I had mine removed and barely noticed!

Piercings take seconds. It’s no worse than someone flicking you.

It’s not painful but then I got my thirds when I was 14 so memory may not be that great. However more recently I got a helix which did hurt a lot and a stacked lobe which did not. Honestly just depends on your pain threshold. I didn’t even feel my tragus and was surprised when he said time to put the threaded back in.

However as above, if you’re so anxious why are you getting them done?

I didn't find it painful, but I did get bizarrely lightheaded for no discernible reason. I have chronic pain, and like I say beyond a 'there's a needle through my ear' it didn't particularly hurt, so I was a bit put out my body did that.

I've wanted them done for a while now and know that I'm only anxious from my anxiety so I just want to get them done and out the way so I can stop being jealous of seeing people with them 😂

I did think that but I've already got quite a lot of piercings and just want the 3rds to finish them off. I know the anxiousness is just from my anxiety ( well, I hope )

I did mine myself with a kit from Amazon, I don’t recommend this because I think mine are wonky 😂 It didn’t hurt at all though.

It’s not painful at all OP, like a 3/10. Don’t stress over it, just do it!
