Sun screen recommendations please!

Hello - I’m looking for recommendations for factor 50
sun screen please. It needs to be eco-friendly/no nasty chemicals, suitable for face & body AND be easily applied, not like rubbing in thick white paint! Does such a sun screen exist??!!

I’m not sure I know enough admit chemicals in sunscreens but La Roche Posay anti-Helios is great for the face. It melts on like skincare should and doesn’t leave a greasy mess. It feels like a light moisturiser.

Oh, I know exactly the white paint struggle you mean. I do think that sunscreen exists, but it's usually the pricier, more specialised brands that manage it.

I've had the best luck with lightweight, zinc based mineral formulas that use non nano particles. They tend to sink in faster than the old thick stuff. I've been using a Lightweight Daily SPF 50+ Sunscreen with Niacinamide and Citrus Peel recently. It's genuinely light, doesn't leave that chalky cast, and it's kind to my sensitive skin. The niacinamide is a nice bonus for brightening. I get it from McGrocer when I'm doing my monthly tea and crumpets order, which saves me hunting around the local chemists. It's suitable for both face and body, and a little goes a long way. Just let it absorb for a few minutes before you dress. Hope you find your perfect match.

I have very sensitive skin on my face so always buy a separate one for it. I use Eucerin 50+ oil control dry touch on face and Bondi sands 50 on body. Both go on nicely and don’t feel sticky.

I've just started using Altruist spf50 can be used on face and body. Goes on like a moisturizer, not sticky. Not tested on animals, vegan friendly and micro plastic free. It's amazing stuff at a great price. It's not a mineral only screen though if that's what you are looking for? All the mineral only sunscreens I've used tend to be thick white and greasy!
