Hello - I’m looking for recommendations for factor 50
sun screen please. It needs to be eco-friendly/no nasty chemicals, suitable for face & body AND be easily applied, not like rubbing in thick white paint! Does such a sun screen exist??!!

I’m not sure I know enough admit chemicals in sunscreens but La Roche Posay anti-Helios is great for the face. It melts on like skincare should and doesn’t leave a greasy mess. It feels like a light moisturiser.

I have very sensitive skin on my face so always buy a separate one for it. I use Eucerin 50+ oil control dry touch on face and Bondi sands 50 on body. Both go on nicely and don’t feel sticky.

I've just started using Altruist spf50 can be used on face and body. Goes on like a moisturizer, not sticky. Not tested on animals, vegan friendly and micro plastic free. It's amazing stuff at a great price. It's not a mineral only screen though if that's what you are looking for? All the mineral only sunscreens I've used tend to be thick white and greasy!

Hi. Look for "micronised or non-nano zinc oxide" as the primary filter. Fragrance-free & "without oxybenzone or octinoxate" covers the clean/eco angle. A tinted mineral SPF is worth considering too. These formulas exist across every price point now, so checking the INCI for those specific filter & base ingredients will find you something that works for both face/body.

I generally use the garnier or lrp's spf50. I will share my routine for my acne if that helps:
Morning:
Using water to wash your face,
Sebamed clear face gel,
LRP spf50
Evening:
Merit or LRP moisturizer,
Tretinoin (0.1) from skinorac
Sebamed clear facial gel

Vichy capital soleil. Non greasy. My partner and I have used it for years now
