Alternative to gel nails

After a long time getting my nails back to good condition I’m not sure I want to go back to destroying them with gel nails. Going to a wedding in a couple of weeks time, then straight on holiday so looking for something that will last a couple of weeks. Has anyone tried the “dip” polish? Or can anyone please recommend good regular nail polish that lasts, or any luck with long lasting stick on nails?
Open to all recommendations please. 💅🏻

I tried shellac and like you, the condition of my nails for a few weeks afterwards put me right off. Have never had a nail polish that looked close though, but then if a beautician did it maybe it would look equivalent

I avoid gel too, as it trashes my nails. I can never make normal polish (including Essie, OPI etc) last 2 weeks, even after the beautician has applied it. I can get 7ish days out of nail wraps (Lily and Fox), but they’re really easy to apply and remove so have taken them on holiday and changed them during the trip.
