Life after a Changing Bag

My DS is now 4, fully potty trained and I am still lugging around my trusty changing bag like it is an emotional support animal. It has been hard to accept but…it’s time to move on.

Please can you recommend a bag to transition away from the changing bag. I want something for a grown up /more stylish however would still like for a backpack as opposed to a handbag so I can be hands free with (my very naughty) ds. I would still need a fair amount of storage space so I can pack the kitchen sink that hanging out with a child entails. Open to colour/brands but would prefer the under £100 mark if possible.

Please help!

I went full on opposite after ditching the changing bag... Whatever doesn't fit in my pockets, I don't need. (I do wear jeans a lot though)
I have an incredibly small handbag should I go out.

Like the other poster, I usually make the most of not needing to carry much and just have my regular handbag.

If I’m carrying more stuff, I use a Le Pliage most of the time. The bag itself is lightweight and the canvas material is easy to clean. Fits a ton of stuff in there and easy to access everything so I can just chuck it all in without needing to worry about keeping certain things at the top of the backpack etc.

Sometimes I switch it up and use a leather tote bag if we’re going somewhere I want to be dressier and I won’t need to put it down anywhere.

Thank you for your responses. I have some nice handbags for when I am not out and about with DS. I am looking for something to take out on day trips with DS and therefore need to store the usual emergency snacks, jumper, flask, essential teddy bear that DS insists on that is also nice and stylish and not my battered changing bag.
