Affordable UV protection spray recommendations for blow drying coloured hair

UV spray to use for blow drying?

I have low lights (putting colour back into my hair) which costs a fortune, and the minute the sun shines the colour fades and it ends up a much too light blonde.

Anyone any suggestions for a reasonably priced spray that can help?

I used Elvive colour protector shampoo and conditioner but it made my scalp dry and itchy.

I love Osmo Thermal Defense spray. It protects against heat & uv rays. I have definitely noticed my colour is lasting longer now its sunnier. I think its around £12ish.

Hi OP. Try to look for benzophenone-4 in the ingredient list it's the most common one used in leave-in sprays & it forms a protective film on the hair shaft that absorbs UV before it breaks down the colour molecules. Hydrolyzed keratin or panthenol alongside it adds structural protection & helps the cuticle lie flat, which also improves colour retention.

You’re basically trying to protect against UV and heat, since both fade pigment. Sprays with UV filters and panthenol will help a lot in this.

Try the Wella one:
