i have a lovely and rare day out planned with a great friend in a big city centre. Pllan is to mooch about the shops, stops for coffee and lunch. I have a fairly good sense of style but live in the depths of the countryside and day to day am a bit of a slob! I’m 46, slim and live in jeans and a t.shirt/ jumper. I have some beautiful clothes from for example Sezane, maje, Sandro and Uniqlo - but I don’t really know how to style them for a day out in a big city (Manchester). I’m not glam and not bothered about that but don’t want to feel that awful feeling when you try on clothes in a shop and feel like shit in the mirror! So my question is- at short notice - what can I wear to feel a bit cool
and pretty for a casual day out?
